All Island CHD Network Conference

Heart Children Ireland's Annual Conference will take place on Saturday November 18th in the Riddle Hall Queens University Belfast as part of the All Island CHD Network Conference. The Network Conference is a free two day conference, 17th and 18th November, for all involved in the care of children with CHD in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Day one will have a clinical focus and Day two a patient and family focus. We will be delivering day two of this conference in partnership with The Childrens Heartbeat Trust and we hope you can attend and meet lots of other parents from both Northern Ireland and The Republic of Ireland. Families are welcome to attend both days although the Saturday programme will be focused on heart families and patients.

The main themes of the conference will be 'Inherited Cardiac Conditions' and 'The Child with complex CHD'. Being part of the overall Network Conference means we will be able to bring internationally renowned specialists speakers to Day two and our heart families will be able to hear from and ask questions of more experts leading in their field.

Running alongside the main conference will be a Teens Programme for all our heart teens and siblings between 12 - 18 and we will also be offering a creche facility so parents can relax and enjoy the conference.

Please register in order to reserve your place. Further information and registration are available here.

If you wish to avail of the creche facilites and/or the Teens Workshops we would urge you to register as soon as possible as places are limited for both of these facilities.  The creche is available to children aged 0 - 11. The full conference programme will be announced in early September so keep an eye on our facebook/web pages.
